Terms of use

By using Serenpool you accept these terms. Developer: Claudio Dall'Ara, Italy. Contact: [email protected].

What the app does

Serenpool calculates indicative doses of pool products (chlorine, pH and alkalinity adjusters, stabilizer and similar) from the readings you enter, your pool volume and the active ingredient percentages stated on product labels. It also offers guided procedures and reminders.

Doses are indicative

Safety

Pool products are hazardous chemicals. Always follow the warnings in the app and on labels: never mix different products, add the product to the water and never the other way round, keep chlorine and acids apart, store products closed and away from children.

Pro version

Pro is a one-time purchase through Google Play at the price shown in the store. It is not a subscription and does not renew. Refunds and withdrawal rights follow Google Play's rules. Reinstalling the app with the same Google account restores the purchase.

Founders programme

During the closed test, testers use the Pro features for free through Google Play test purchases that charge nothing. The first 50 testers who use the app for at least 3 months and hand in the final report receive a Google Play promo code for lifetime Pro on their own account; if the pool is closed in winter, the report also counts after the first use in spring, by 30 June 2027. The code is personal and cannot be exchanged for money.

Your data

Data stays on your device: see the privacy policy. Make a backup if you do not want to lose it when changing phone.

Liability

I build the app carefully and check its calculations, but it is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for harm to people, pools, equipment or property resulting from use of chemicals not in line with their labels, from incorrect readings or data, or from errors in the app. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

Changes and governing law

I may update these terms; the version in force is always published on this page. Italian law applies, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer rights of your country of residence.
